What does offshore Sage bookkeeping involve?

Offshore Sage bookkeeping means a qualified team in India keeps your books inside your own Sage file, with the access you give it. EarthOne codes transactions, reconciles bank feeds and balance sheet accounts, maintains the ledgers and prepares VAT returns in Sage for UK accounting firms and businesses. It costs £12.50 an hour, or £750 a month for a part-time dedicated bookkeeper.

Access and control

We work in your Sage file with a user login you create and can remove at any time, so every change sits in Sage’s own history and audit trail. You decide the permissions. A UK GDPR Data Processing Agreement is signed before we log in, and nothing is submitted to HMRC without your instruction.

Who does the work

A qualified Indian Chartered Accountant (ICAI member) prepares the work and a second CA reviews it. It is an Indian qualification, separate from the UK ACA and ACCA. Sage is one of the systems our team uses every day. Weekly timesheets show what was done and by whom. For practices, the work is white-label: see how it works for accounting firms.

Talk to a qualified CA, not a sales team.
